Sunlight *will* help - the body seems to absorb better from sun. (I'm not saying to skip the 50k IU! I'm saying "and hey, try to get 15 minutes of sun on your skin daily, as warmer weather approaches!")
I hope you're fit and fixed soon! I know better than most how bad fatigue is.
