Something very exciting happened at my school today. For the assembly, we listened to Odds Bodkin, a modern bard/actor who told us part of The Odyssey in dramatic poet's style, as it would have been told orginally. I can't believe this! Where did my summer go? Now my room is all but empty, and five giant suitcases, not to mention several cardboard boxes, stand at the top of the stairs waiting to be shoved into the car. I feel gypped. The vet called early today and said that we could take Luna home around noon, but then called back later to say that Luna's been vomiting, meaning we can't take her home until at least tomorrow :( At this rate, she won't be home before I go back to school ( Read more... )

Good news! The vet called; they got the carpet out of Luna's stomach, plus a few other odds and ends. She's doing just fine, and we should have her back either tomorrow or the weekend. They're also going to send us the removed carpet (in a sealed bag), but that particular article's arrival is not as gladly anticipated. Oh well, at least we get our ( Read more... )
