I've become a big fan of distraction, in my frickin' pain journey. Sometimes, it is distraction that helps me hold on... maybe if you use the distraction with purpose? I'm told there is a strain... Alice something- I'd have to look- that is best for pain. Given where I live, however, I haven't played with all that as much as I'd like to.
