No matter what you do with PCF, I wish you'd come by Save Big O. No Hitler Youth, honest. :)

Get better, and Happy New Year

I had registered a long time ago, but I forgot my username and password. Should I just create a new one?

You registered as Tess, and you used your hotmail email, so you ought to be able to recover it.

If you aren't using that mail any more, just let me know and I'll reset your password and mail it to one of the others I have on file. ;)

Could you send a new password to my Yahoo email, please?

Thank you, dearest! *hug*

I'm way ahead of you. The constant risk of randomly ending up in The Forum Enquirer (You-Know-Who's LJ) and getting lectured by The Fallen Phoenix for a relatively minor error in the Katrina news-turned-bickering thread during the hurricane is what sealed my defection. While not precisely what he said, the gist I got was, "How DARE you make such an assumption in such a disaster!" Among other things, the list goes on. I have been meaning to go clear my profile, but I just haven't had the chance.

Now I frequent SaveBigO. It's relatively small at the moment, but it is steadily growing. Trolls aren't tolerated and pretty much everyone is pleasant to talk with.

Usually, the downfall of a forum is when the trolls take over and are considered the 'welcomed new blood' - it's what happened at one Project A-Ko forum I adored until the webmaster came out of the closet about his hentai leanings on the series. Now it's filled with people who cannot spell and focus on what the series was planned to be (lemon lez) rather than what it is (anime/pop culture comedy).

Still, I think I'll take Zola's advice and head back to SaveBigO.

That's funny, I saw plenty of trolling going on there back before I permanently left, and when I informed a certain admin about it, I was told to insult them back in the "Mosh Pit." That hardly seems like a troll-free and "pleasant" place to me.

The tone at SBO has improved over the last two years.

Hi Lady T, it's Coleman. My brother got an LJ account and I'm hooking him up. Would you mind if he adds you?

Actually, disregard that if you don't want your friend page to be spammed beyond recognition. My apologies.

I don't blame you one bit. I haven't really been on there since October and I really don't miss it that much. The only PCF related thing I still do is the IRC chat and thats it. I just got tired of the drama there and nothing has really changed much. Honestly, I haven't been spending any time on any forums. I should try to visit SBO a little more often though.
