I am glad that the shadow has lifted at least a bit. and i agree wholeheartedly with the sentiment about beauraucracy's doom beeing the one bright spot in a potential armageddon.
I hope you get that library job. I worked for San Jose State when I went there. I worked for the bookstore, but not in it(thank the Mother! I probably would have been fired from telling the football goons what idiots they were, but that's another story!). I ended up at the warehouse (having worked in one previously). I don't know about your school, but working for SJSU had some perks. They gave me a small food allowance and paid for my graduation gown. And I only worked part time. Best of all, they understood that school came first. Seems kinda obvious, but I never assume people see the obvious.
As far as the "blessing" of children goes...hmm, yeah, for the most part, kids are worth that hassle. And, things change up a bit after you actually have the kids. Or, they did for me anyway.
Sis, I am so sorry you have to go through this monthly. As a member of the testosterone side of the gender fence, I couldn't even begin to understand what you go through. So I can only give my prayers for you when you go through this.
