Ah, Empress Maria Theresa! Mozart, in his last opera - the pro-Freemasonic "The Magic Flute" - portrayed the dear Empress as the "Queen of the Night", the villianess in his piece. Sorry, Wolfgang, you got it wrong.

BTW, this year is the 250th anniversary of Mozart's birth. I may watch "Amadeus" tonight rather than the Super Bowl. Being a good Patriots fan, I have no "dog in this fight" in Detroit.

Have a good week, sis! *hugs*

It's always that way. I experienced it myself in school Any "abnormal" girl (smart, agressive, or sporty) experienced it. I was "tempermental", "bossy", and "difficult". There were boys doing the same thing, and it became "leadership potential". Or even worse, shrugged off as "boys will be boys!"

But I do have to say this. If the Democratic party wants to lose again in 2008, then they'll run that woman. She has no chance in winning. What she is, what she's done, and who she's married to will all work against her. Nevermind that this country is way too backwards still to ever elect a woman President.

Just my .02. The way the world is running, however, I will most likely piss you off. I seem to have a gift for that this week.

I do agree with you completely - there's too much history and reputation working against her to be in office as president. What the hell the people expect a female president to do, nobody's decided - the popular image in mind seems to be Tea Time with the UN (but then if a tough bitch ran and won, they'll complain that she's not acting like a woman). And the boys in charge know that girls don't like to play their games, so there's no chance that the God Ol' Boy Network will survive a female winning the presidential election (unless it's Condalezza Rice ( ... )

Re: this article: Um... huh? This doesn't even make any sense, Mehl! If the best character assassination you Republicans can come up with is "she is angry," maybe the Dems should run Hillary. ;-)

And wow, the government really is one giant schoolyard... I keep holding out hope!
