I'm still around...

I hope your holidays were nice and you are keeping to your New Years resolutions. My Christmas was very quiet this year but it was nice to have my family around to keep me busy. Holidays also make you think. Boy, do they! I have given so much thought about were I was, where I am and where I want to be. Thinking can drive a person crazy I advise you ( Read more... )

Twenty 13 year olds?? You're brave. ;)

I got the DnL pioneer key from someone who tried/"didn't have time for the game" (good phrase, gonna remember that one if I sell it) ... I like flying the dragon, that's about it. Oh, and casting spells is fun too, when I can target something. Seems like a very buggy Guild Wars to me. Without a usable quest log. I mostly play WoW right now, never heard of DDO, have to check them out.

Good luck on the job hunt!

I don't think being worried about your house is very materialistic at all. When you're supporting a family, it's nice to have a stable place to live out of so you don't have to worry about where you will be. It can be important to keep a roof over your head, if for nothing else than to keep a sense of normalcy.

Hey Tiggs outatime82 January 23 2006, 17:18:05 UTC
I know what it's like to have to limit your job search when you're confined to one city...especially when it is one where there isn't a lot of work in your field available. I really hope you find something soon. It seems like it's not easy for anyone to find a job right now.

It's not like you've missed a lot in swg lately. I made a movie about it and people have really taken to it so I thought I'd show you, please watch if you have a chance. Let me know what you think. Here it is.

Thanks for updating and as always good luck with the job search :)

Huggs!

I really wish companies would get more comfortable with remote workers. I have a coworker in my group who works full-time remotely, but he had to 'earn' it by establishing himself as a very valuable member of the team before his personal obligations led him to move away from Austin. He does perfectly fine, and is still a very very strong team member, but it's still not something the company would allow for just anyone.

Remote or not, though I hope you find something you like soon!

Happy early birthday to Tigglet, and agreement that you are a very very brave woman to take on twenty 13 yr olds!

It was good to hear an update from you. I hope you're hitting up the job entries and that all goes well for you :).
