So...ending things on cliffhangers is not cool. Not cool at all.
Now that's out of the way, the episode:
I loved the scene with the Chief interviewing the gang re. cutting the cord. So much stuff coming out there. My favourites were Cristina (for the "ahhh" factor) and Meredith (purely for the "let's make this really awkward for the Chief" qualities).
I really hate Izzie, but she almost redeems herself at the end with her whole "I'm not a surgeon, I quit" thing. And then, of course, the fact that she just lost her fiance (don't even get me started on that whole bit).
Speaking of Denny dying, I expected it, and even hoped for it, but the way he ends up dying is really unsatisfying in view of that second point. I actually felt sorry for him! And then that scene with Izzie in the bed with him is practically heart-breaking. Oh, and more Alex redemption is always fine by me (I love him! [And he's totally still in love with Izzie]).
Stupid, stupid Meredith. Sleeping with Derek during "prom"? And you know that Addison could tell. As could Finn (he has plans, for god's sake!), but the poor man still wants her. Not that the Meredith/Derek sleeping-together thing was unexpected either. Those two are so incredibly screwed up...
I love Callie! And how insightful George is ("give me time to mean it")!
And thank god Cristina stayed, finally. I would probably have had to break something if they'd made her walk away again. But hooray for her finding the human in herself. Her and Burke are so perfect together. At least...they should be. Because I say so.
And Addison love, just for the hell of it. That poor woman...she's so wonderful and Derek is such a dick. Blah.
Why do we have to wait so long for next season? I really don't know if I'm going to be able to survive. Anyone up for a Grey's Anatomy party this summer?
