List to self

My life is in pieces. Don't get me wrong, I feel quite fine (although stressed like woah). It's just that this whole going practice -thing is spreading all around in tiny pieces and I'm in constant fear that I'll loose the strings, forget to do something and everything come crashing down. So I think I'm going to list everything down. Sorry if I'm ( Read more... )

It's stupid, isn't it? Being perfectly ready for your job and then having to deal with a hundred things you were ever taught nil about.

Oh, and while I know that veterinarian is a demanding job, I'm just a tad bit jealous. When I started working as a trainee, I went for 1000 euros minus taxes (well, the living costs at the place were so low they were practically free). And now I have been working as a researcher for three years, and this spring I might be able to coax my salary to go just over two thousand... Working for the university sucks.

Congrats on getting rid of Sampo. ;) If you have business in your new bank, you can actually ask them to close your previous account. I did it, because I couldn't be arsed to go into their office just for that.

Well, actually the salary is only a part of my incomes. You see, I also get payed by the customers for messing with treating their animals. That's what makes everything so hard: I'm both working for the state and being a self-employed person at the same time. That's also the reason why salary of vets tend to be so lousy compared to human doctors.

But yeah, I think (hope) I'll be making quite a lot of money next summer *looks the window of the nearest record shop with creedy eyes*.

I'm going to quit my Sampo account tomorrow. I want to feel the triumph of going there saying "Hello, I want to quit my bank account". Hihihiii

That it a very satisfying experience.

Also, it's greedy with a G, not creedy. Creed=uskontunnustus. Admittedly rather funny in the context you've accidentally placed it in. ;P
