or typing as the case may be. Actually, I haven't done as much of it as I would have liked. I have been working on 'teh revision from hell,' and there are new chapters posted at all of my usual haunts. Summer vacation will soon be upon me and there will be fawns at home full time. That means writing goes back on the night shift. *sigh* Maybe that

I'm not having much whatever getting stuff done either.

A friend's son is in the hospital, and my husband and I did yardwork at her house while the rest of the Relief Society cleaned her kitchen, bathroom and the rest of the house, and it hit me, once again, that if anything happened to us, that they wouldn't be able to find where to start at.

And we have company coming.

We also have a neighbor who says she is concerned about the our dog being chased by the deer (which did happen yesterday), which is a veiled threat that she's going to call animal control if we can't keep our dog on our property 100% of the time. (Her husband threatened to brain our dog with a piece of pipe when she was a puppy who'd gotten out of the yard and was barking at him, seven years ago.)

So my stories are on the back burner now, my to my grief. And reading the stories of others, same thing.

Ugh, evil neighbors! Did you say the *dog* was being chased by the *deer*? Scary deer!

It's a doe with a fawn. She was here for less than a day, and left. The neighbor says she has twins. I just saw one fawn that was doing a lot of running around. If the fawn ran at our dog, the dog would run away.
