last saturday i left kings bay and drove the ~280 miles to largo fl (near tampa) to my sister kelly's place. i hadn't seen her in about 5 years so it was nice to meet her again and her family. her daughter rhianna is now 7...growing up so fast. also met her new husband joe. nice guy from what i saw ( Read more... )

i am so sore and tired i dont know how i managed to walk to my room. i just got back from a trip to central florida where a group of guys from the rhode island and i played in a 24 hour scenario based paintball game. yes, 24 hours long. there were about 2000 people playing on a very large piece of land so it was quite interesting to say the least. so of course i went to the track again. non of my friends from the boat came to race, but two came and watched so i had some morale support which was nice. anyway...onto the good part.

so, went back to the track again today. it was extremely fun. i got a few more of my friends from the boat to come down with me, which was cool. one guy was running a gti, another a miata and a third was running his focus because he broke his hand a few days ago and couldnt bring his gxr 1000 like last week. anyway, here are my times:

so...today was test and tune day at jax raceways. i told a few people at work and they were interested in going so a few of us went down there and raced. its only an 1/8th mile track but it was a blast. two other guys came with me, one has a mini cooper s and the other has a gxr (sp?) 1000 (motorcycle). i never saw how my friend on the motorcycle ( Read more... )
