Can I just say that I am absolutely spoiled by the love of a good man?  I happen to be very sick, and he is out at nearly 11 to get cough syrup for me.  And he is glad to do it.  It's such an amazing relief knowing I can rely on him if I need to, and he's not resentful.  It's new and suprising.  But he is so good, and he treats me better than I ( Read more... )

Christmas is coming up like a locomotive.  I aspire to own a tree by next year, and have more decorations than one string of lights around my window I got super cheap at walgreens a couple weeks ago.  It looks institutionally festive, a little sardonic, against the bare white wall.  Maybe next year, I'll have curtains.  That would be cool.  I ( Read more... )

Chicago: Bobby's birthday, the campout in Bobby and Jessica's appartment, the roadtrip, the ballet I was by sheer fortune invited to attend, the hockey game (despite the loss) breakfast, downtown, cards, Grandma's Boy, the cats and the snoring was a fantabulous time.
