Thoughts on beginning a new school year

Haven't posted for a while because I was busy and stressed out, getting ready for the new school year, which started last Wednesday. Let me tell you, I was NOT looking forward to it. Hey Stacy! :-) I cannot even begin to imagine what it's like teaching high school. I think I would literally and truly go insane--NO WAY.

However, this is my second semester of teaching baby freshmen here at UT and I really love it. There are no parents to deal with, no disciplinary problems. And if there were, you could just ask them to leave the class. The syllabus is already done for me (it's departmental) and I do the lesson plans, grading and such. Give it a thought. . . Perhaps you love Spanish but can't deal with high school. .
