I've been playing with the idea of getting a Deviantart account. Is this something I really want to do, those of you who have accounts? I dunno, I feel sort of like I'd be selling my soul. Or opening myself up to art theft. Or both.

Get it!!!!! Other than the sheer fact that it's great... What I end up using mine for, mostly, is always having a back-up of my work where ever I'm at.

I think the only thing holding you back is "selling your soul". Or biting your pride and jumping on the bandwagon. DA is a very useful thing, and I haven't seen many problems with stolen art. It can have it's annoying quirks, but the good definitely outweighs the bad. ^^

Posting art DA is no different than posting art anywhere else, right? I rally don't know why people think that DA = theft. It's just...a site. but yes, I think you should join! :) It'll be easier to get comments and crits on each individual picture too.
