Ah I loved that! I became a Firefly fan this summer. The series was one of the few DVDs I had and I played them on my laptop numerous times. You have nailed (so to speak) Mal's voice, I swear. Even better because it isn't your normal style. I wouldn't have thought him capable of m/m sex but you sold me.

Thank you! I looove Mal's voice and cadence--one of the engrossing things about the series is the amalgamation of languages because the actors made it work.

I discovered Firefly only after the movie, which we saw abroad as luck would have it. I wouldn't have thought Mal capable of this either, but there was a perfect moment of hostility between Mal and Simon in Serenity where I thought, "whoa" and I leaned over to ask my husband. "Yep, absolutely," was all he said before I said anything. And I bought the DVDs. Since LJ is my last archive standing, I figured I'd better be a better librarian.

I suspect, my dear, that you left me this little prezzie knowing it's a frosty morning indeed where I am... and I'm grateful.
