Well, I did not know that you had picked up cake baking, but if you are any good at it my roomates and I sure would like to try. We have this thing about getting all our freinds to bake stuff for us before they are alowed to hang out in our most excellent crib. Jayne,
I was just reading through these (what a lovely study distracting these make!) and I couldn't help but not comment on this entry! You have an amazing way of expressing yourself and I really admire how you are handling this situation. It is very hard to find a balance once you start college, but I think you are doing a great job making new friends so far! That is very important, but yay for you too for recognizing how you could remember you "old" friends. I really admire that!

oh my dear jayne, i know exactly how u feel... i realised w/ a little help from a certain someone that i really have neglected my old friends, i've made so many new ones its been hard to keep up hard to have time for everyone. And i had some delusion that i wasnt doing any thing wrong and just thinking of someone was enough. Actions deffinately speak louder than words and until i pick up a phone and call someone to see how they are im being a pretty lousey friend. I cant say when and im sure u cant either but at some point we do need to hang out b/c i miss u more than you know. I love you as always
