My dad just said "beautiful goal." He loves Anaheim more tonight, because he just found out I am going to California in just over two days. I've been talking about it all month, and staying home constantly for about that same amount of time. My dad sells guns and archery equipment now and my mom just gave me a Cadbury Creme egg. This is real time.

I have actually noticed an upswing in the crow population. I don't know how I feel about this, often I'll see a group of them in a tree completely still and think they're not real.

Sophie saw a murder (eek!) of them the other day, and when she tried to take a picture of them, her camera just would not focus. And it's a point and shoot digital camera! Creepy. Harbringers of doom and gloom? Probably not, but I'm not too hyped on it either.

murders galore this year!! on thursday, carolyn and i were at memorial park waiting for people, and we heard a loud cawing in the air, looked up, and saw what must have been at least fifty, if not more, crows flying above us. they went past the church on fourth street, across from where sloth used to be and that crow statue is. i said "i wonder if they'll come back" a couple minutes later, and just after the words left my mouth, they came flying over the park and flew directly over our heads, in pretty low proximity. two smaller murders followed them over the city heights, and after a few more minutes, we saw the murder rise up and float for a few minutes, then disappear back into the city. i really just like saying "murder so much." at one point, carolyn and i were walking to the train and she said 'that murder was so weird' and i momentarily forgot the crows and got sort of freaked out. hitlers birthday was creepy this year.
