Hive Mind, I Need Your Help!

Hey! I need someone tech savvy to help me figure out what's going on with my netbook. I plugged it in after it had been sitting for a few weeks and it seems my battery won't charge. The LED is blinking. The thing still runs on corded power but it would be a bummer to have to plug it in all the time. Anyone have time to help me troubleshoot this?

Find someone with the same model and swap batteries. See if the problem follows the battery or the netbook.

Just reseating the battery might make all the difference. While it's plugged in, pop it out and then pop it back in and see if it starts charging.

Tried that. No luck. Control panels > Power Options shows battery as "unknown".

if you've had the battery awhile, it might just not be working anymore. i'd follow the advice of getting another battery you know works and trying that.

Computer is less than 7 months old and hasn't been used that much.
