Mine as well. One of the things that I lost in the mess of my last relationship was a huge number of Batman comic books, including first editions of Dark Knight Returns. I am still really sad about that.
One of my other favorite comics was The Punisher. I had the original mini series, first print. I sold it to get some money for a girlfriend to help her. I got out of the set what I paid for it, even though it was worth TWICE that at the time. The guy who ran the comic shop was notorious for doing that if you wanted cash. He would WAY undercut the value unless you wanted to trade for something else. Still kicking myself in the ass for that one. I had almost ALL the Punisher books, except issue 9, in which Microship's son (Microchip was The Punisher tech guy in case you aren't familiar) died. It was hard to find and expensive. I've got an average sized collection in the basement right now. About 3,000 comics.
The Dark Knight Returns rawks. Frank Miller's best work in my opinion. I have a first print of The Killing Joke. That's pretty good too. Did you have the mini series where The Joker killed Robin? A Death in the Family I think it was called? Not as good as Killing Joke or Dark Knight Returns, but still made a lot of people mad.
