Honestly, I think that Cas is overreacting. I'm bi, and I understand the importance of keeping it secret when you're dating someone of the same gender and you can't trust the people around you. You have to accept that it's going to fucking hurt when you and your S.O. have to lie about who you're dating, whether the lie is a simple no or more emphatic.

Yeah, but just sit and think that Castiel has lied and hidden for almost his entire life. It's not just his sexuality that he had to keep tabs on, it's practically everything he wanted.
Now, for once, he has a person he doesn't have to hide anything from, he can be himself and letting go of everything, and that said person just called this... freedom of his a nonexistent ridicule. In front of him.
I mean, I'd have been pretty hurt. Dean could choose another way to tell to Lis to fuck off, but he belittled the one thing that Cas cared the most for.
Secretive or not, lying or not, if something like that is voiced out loud, in front of you, by the lips of the one you love so much, it destroys you.

You're both right! He definitely did overreact (which he admits to later), but he'd had a really rough couple of days. Dean didn't realise that Cas needed him to stand up for their relationship but he was insensitive (poor Dean isn't the most insightful cookie). It was just one of those arguments that was the product of several misunderstandings.
