we: referring to all who can relate a personal life situation to this question.

question: are we good at making excuses,lying to ourselves for the sake of temporary satisfaction or are we good at accepting and understanding that everyone has character flaws?

Making excuses and lying to yourself is so much easier... its quick satisfaction and gets you out of your predicament... for the moment.
All that shit catches up to you eventually, at which point you have to look back, and excuse or forgive yourself for it, and say "everyone has a character flaw... and mine is not living up to my full potential due to not taking responsibility for my actions"

If you should do it, do it. If you did it and you shouldn't have, fucking admit it and get over it.

I think I need to take my own medicine, come to think :D

i like to think that everyone has character flaws; i'm just not comfortable when i recognize one in myself. if my flaws are manageable or fixable, i try.

but, i'm also rather good at making excuses
and riding the fence on issues.
