Dream Effect: [Optional] Happiness, the kind you feel when you're around something or someone you cherish, yet there's a longing of that someone or something being far away. And then, a sense of slight fear, like when you're about to take medicine that you know tastes horrid.
Lag sits in the middle of a middle of a desert. The land is a vast plane of white and browns as dandelion-like flowers sway in the breeze Everything is mostly dark, the black night of Amberground illuminated by a sea of stars. Galaxies are beautifully laid across the sky, and constellations aren't as easy to pick out as they may be in other worlds, just because there are so many stars. There is a young man sitting next to Lag, one who looks very similar to Lag himself. To add to the resemblance, they both wear the uniform of the Letter Bees.
The young boy, Lag, whines as the older pulls out two canteens of soup.
"Gauche!" he exclaims, looking at the soup in mild horror, "Why do we have to eat this disgusting soup?"
"Please try and tolerate it," Gauche Suede replies with a sigh, putting the canteen to his lips and taking the first sip. He seems not bothered by this terrible soup. "Sylvette worked hard to cook it, and we'll be weak during deliveries if we don't eat."
"Bah!"
With a grimace, Lag downs some of the soup. The face he makes after eating the soup just shows how gross this soup really is.
"Gauche?" says Lag, and Gauche looks at him.
"Yes, Lag Seeing?"
"Wake up, please...I miss you. We all miss you-...!"
Gauche opens his mouth, and...-
[Lag wakes up, sunlight from the window hitting his face, unaware of the Dreamberry recording him. He sits up, wiping the tears from his face and mumbling a name. It's then that the light catches his attention, and he runs out of sight. It's then that you hear him exclaim, to no one in particular.]
A-Ah! It's bright! Why is it...what's that thing in the sky...it hurts to look at-...! How is it so bright outside?! I-I can see everything out there!
