Well, I generally wait until a story is finished before reading it, and I'm going to have to go back and read the earlier parts of this, but I got sucked in, and wanted to let you know.

It's a very interesting scenario you've got here, and I think you've got the characterization down pretty well. Miranda's attempts to make things up with Stephen (pppt) match up with the woman we saw at the top of the stairs I think.
