So, got back yesterday from climbing Mt. Fuji. Ah, Fuji. The stereotypical, best known symbol of Japan. It really does rise out of no where in the landscape and it towers over the surrounding prefectures. FJET (Fukui-ken JETs) offered a trip to climb the mountain and watch the sunrise from the summit. It really was...the clouds below us were cool to look at, as was a cloud that looked like a Japanese temple. I have photos and a Photobucket account, but no internet at home and I can`t upload here at work.

Good luck with that...I hope you get out here soonish. Fukui-ken is surprisingly nice, you should try for it. Our motto is "The Baka Inaka" or the crazy countryside...so much retardedness.
