So, got back yesterday from climbing Mt. Fuji. Ah, Fuji. The stereotypical, best known symbol of Japan. It really does rise out of no where in the landscape and it towers over the surrounding prefectures. FJET (Fukui-ken JETs) offered a trip to climb the mountain and watch the sunrise from the summit. Yay for Mt. Fuji. Much fun. if you remembered to tak pic you should post them. It sounds like the view was spectacular.

It really was...the clouds below us were cool to look at, as was a cloud that looked like a Japanese temple. I have photos and a Photobucket account, but no internet at home and I can`t upload here at work.

Sounds like a wonderful trip! Glad to hear your having a great time. I finished my tefl this week so all I am up to is getting a job. Hope to see you soon, stay well.

Good luck with that...I hope you get out here soonish. Fukui-ken is surprisingly nice, you should try for it. Our motto is "The Baka Inaka" or the crazy countryside...so much retardedness.
