AO Day 1

Today's highlights:
- Jankovic def. Paszek. What. A. Match.
- Rafa def. Troicki. Got a bit nervous there in the 1st set and up to the middle of the 2nd.. but from then on smooth sailing. Vamos Raf.

Can't wait till next week for my first LIVE slam! Melbourne here I come!

It was a BLAST. I wish I could've been there the whole of 2 weeks. There was only 1 glitch - Fed lost ;)

I watched one women's semi (Hantuchova-Ivanovic, even got Ana's autograph) and one men's (coincidentally the Roger vs Djoko match). My group (5 of us) waved our arms off holding gigantic Swiss flags throughout the match but, well, you know how it went.

Talk about being devastated! I mean, come on, the one time I actually see him play LIVE, he actually loses.. *bummed*

...but I'd definitely go again next year. :)

I know...so many good matches to see, lots of energy. I've been to the Rogers Cup, but not to a slam.

Hopefully Rog will put the Fish away in a few hours!
