I've never given a shit that most people reading this don't care for a lot of the music I listen to. I listen to what I enjoy, what I find aesthetically pleasing, and don't try to force it on anyone else (unless you're sugercomadoll and I'm giving you a ride to Bunker ( Read more... )

Why don't they change the damned name to "None of these bands could even play aucuistic x-mas," alreay. Bad Religion's set in er... '93 or something forced them to add the "almost," and today there's not a single unplugged sort of set on either night.

No unplugged sets... except for the sets that are unplugged. ;-) Now granted, it's now the exception rather than the rule, but there are still a few. Staind played both nights one year, and did one night plugged in and one night acoustic.

Oh, and I wouldn't be surprised if Rise Against does it -- they're one of the "and more" bands for this show -- seeing as their current KROQ hit is an acoustic track.

I went to a Rise Against and Alkaline Trio show a couple months ago...
Rise Against is really good live, good enough that I left the show liking them more than I did when I got there. I love it when that happens.
Alkaline was pretty cool to *shrug*

haha.. i didnt even care about the kroq xmas until i saw this. i didnt knwo who was playing b/c i figured theyd suck. but i wouldnt mind seein those bands. avenged, soad, nin etc.. think id fit in ur back pocket? muah ha ha ha... =)

Well, you are rather petite, and clothes I wear tend to have rather large cargo pockets... ;-)

Presale Sunday at 5pm (two-ticket limit), general onsale Monday at 6pm... but tickets are $75 each plus service charges, so figure $85-90 final cost. :-/
