Who, meeeeee? Oh, wait, that's right -- it was me! :-)

We talked about it on Thanksgiving. I told her that if she -- and, by extension, you and whomever else -- wanted/were able to go over the weekend, I'd go then; otherwise, I'd go by myself on Friday. Thinking about it more after posting this, though, I think that I am going to go Thursday after work... and will go back again on the weekend, if there's company.

To die unsung would really bring you down
Although wet eyes would never suit you
Walk through no archetypal suicide
Die young is far too boring these days

Oops, wrong Helmet! ;-) I've got mine, and have stressed repeatedly to the Jenny that she must acquire one before going, as well. She didn't voice much (read: any) resistance to the notion!

okies, responses from the folks here are strongly indicating that next weekend would be better. which works for me, as i still need to get snow pants and that helmet you were mentioning... ;)

but lemme know what your plans are like on thursday (or whenever you're out this way), if you've got some time when i'll be off work, we can hang for a bit!

Actually, a closer examination of forum posts on the mthigh.com boards indicate that next weekend would probably be better for snow conidtions, as well. With memories of the disappointing runs on the last day of last season in my mind as I read the description of yesterday, and with it still all man-made snow as of now, with temps set to warm a degree or two over the next two days, I'm thinking that next weekend is sounding better than this, as well.

*sigh*

I waited this long... I can wait a little longer.

That doesn't mean I'd be adverse to still heading out your way at some point this weekend, though, if you've got any time; let me know.

yeah, well, there's supposed to be a storm heading in this weekend (might explain why my knee is doing its thing), which might not be all that great. But that'll be cool, we'll all go out next weekend! :)

Hmmm... SparkLady mentioned that she might be up for doing something on sunday- maybe i could head that way and we could all meet in the middle somewhere or something? I've got to buy a dress for the office christmas party, and i think that's going to take all of saturday (if not to find and purchase said dress, but to recover from the ignominy of it all). :/ But i'd LOVE to see ya! :)

Storms are good on the mountain, they bring snow (or at least the possibility of it)! Let it snow up there all this weekend, so conditions will be good next weekend! ;-)

I'd seen Sparklie's inquiry about Sunday in her other response, and don't want to step on any toes. But if I wouldn't be intruding, then considering where she is on the West Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiide, and where you are out in Dirtville, does that make the middle somewhere like Pasadena? Actually, probably somewhere still closer to you, I'd imagine. Doesn't matter to me, though, because I know I can't think of many better ways to spend a Sunday, than in the presence of the Jenny and the Spark! :-)

It's been a year now since I found out they broke up... I'm still sad.
