I've been doing that as well. If I finish a book in the middle of the day I like to grab a newspaper to keep me busy.

Right now I am working on the last book of the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. According to the "About the Author" he lives somewhere in the Western United States. I didn't know fantasy readers were of the stalking persuasion...

I took the red, blue and green line recently and I always sat there with my psp and my book. Not once did I see anyone fucking reading. It use to amaze me how people would just sit there and either stare out the window, stare at nothing like a brain dead idiot, or stare at me like I was some sorta freak. Anywho, so great to find others that read. Woohooo!
