It's amazing what you can miss when you work nights and sleep through the day. As I woke up, late as usual, and jumped in my car just after 8:30pm to race to work, I didn't think anything of all the sirens, the choppers buzzing overhead, etc. -- those things actually aren't that unusual in my neighborhood. Playing off a hunch I had following soliton's comment on my last entry, I went back to that same WaMu and made another withdrawal -- eh, better now than ATM fees in Las Vegas. *shrug* Anyway... it turns out that "Jesus" was the name of the Hispanic male teller who was helping me yesterday. I went to the nearest Washington Mutual branch to make a withdrawal yesterday because I wanted specific bill denominations for this weekend's Vegas trip. The branch in question, Vermont & Sunset, is one at which you see a teller who then printsout a receipt with a code number on it, that you then carry to a dispensing station where you input the ( Read more... ) -

40 degrees, sun shining bright, fresh powder, no crowd, a brand new iPod Shuffle, and a Mountain High gift card. Even a free can of Monster on the way in.

I've never actually been to the Darkroom before -- starting work at 9pm on Tuesday nights isn't exactly conducive to the experience. But I'm on vacation this week, and I've got my buddy in town from NYC with me, so I thought we might head out tomorrow and check it out. Anyone else planning on stopping by? -
