What a productive weekend I've had.
My little Victorian a/tea is going ahead, probs early October so I have been working on Mum's skirt.
The pleats are taped and pinned on and I have worked on the front apron/overskirt. We tried it on for fit and length tonight.
Very happy so far.
Next weekend RIFF have been invited to the ACG's regency picnic and I have decided to go. Time is indeed the big healer and it's time to let go.
SOOO what I have been thinking is that for something new but quick and easy, I decided to make a Lunardi hat. Ages ago I picked up a lovely straw and and very luckily I picked up .8 metre of raw silk from Gardams and pretty much sew'd it up today.
I have enough fabric left over to make a little Regency vest. *SQUEE*
