Nick's trousers are SLOWLY coming together, this week I have finally finished the front flap after so much procrastinating over the whole thing. I should by all means just get stuck into the rest of it now. This weekend I hope to have the trousers constructed including (fingers crossed) the waistband.

I realised on Thursday night that HA is only a month away. I haven't started anything for it. Yeah... Great. I know I have stuff I can just wear but it's HA - I want new! pretty! things!

I get more satisfaction out of men's regency clothing than women's. Don't know why, but it might be that they look more tailored and have more structure than the women's. I cycled to Woden today and bought some blue wool to make a tailcoat for John and found some nice cream canvas for a set of breeches. Still have to plan the waistcoat and cravat, but I'm determined he'll be dressed properly this year!
