I think you've really nailed the emotion in this story. I'm looking forward to the next update.

It wasn't quite what I'd planned but it seems to be working out about the same. Hopefully this weekend should see Part 4 done and uploaded. :)

Oh, I love this chapter and I love this story! <3

It was great to see the three of them interact this chapter, and I thought you captured everyone's characterization perfectly. Donna is so amazing. You can really see how strong her friendship with the Doctor is.

Awesome things in this chapter: Jack flirting with Donna, Jack propositioning Martha & Tom, the wonderful comparison between Rose and Donna and how they stand up to the Doctor, Rose not being perfect, Jack learning about Time Lords in history class, Donna's "about to be married to a man I thought- but that doesn't matter." (perfect, and sad)

^_^ Thank you! I'm not pleased that this is taking quite so long to finish but, I am happy with the results so far.

My only regret for this chapter is not enough flirting on Jack's part ;). I'm extremely pleased that everyone agrees that I'm keeping them in character though.

Heh, so pleased that you liked all these little details. From the very few reviews this chapter got on ff.net, I'm not sure the anti-Rose readers were very happy with my comparisons. :P

Psssh. Anyone that can't appreciate the awesome of both Rose and Donna are crazy. I really do think they would have gotten on famously, to the chagrin of the Doctor.

Jack is really brilliant here. I'm tremendously enjoying the characters, who are written well and beautifully in character.

(Also: flirting Jack and the gigolo? teehee)

I'm so glad people think everyone is in character/sounds right. This 5 parter is my first attempt at writing in the Who!verse so I worried.

(When has the man ever not flirted with someone? lol)

Not flirting Jack... hrm.

I don't remember him flirting with Yana?

Does the Mickey Mouse/Captain Cheesecake thing count as flirting? (Actually, I can't remember what happened the first time Mickey and Jack met.)

Erm... there must be someone he's talked to on Torchwood he hasn't flirted with....

I just wish he would flirt with me. At least then I'd know what it was like and could be on the lookout. :P

Hmm, good point about Yana...I'd have to check that one myself

As for Mickey, I like to think he got his flirt on at some point during their lunch in Cardiff with as happy as Mickey was looking then (after being a bit put off upon first the meet up).

Confession time...I have a best friend who acts like Cpt. Jack and I channeled his innuendo for writing out favorite Time Agent. And flirting with him is very, very fun. Not to mention confidence boosting ;)

First of all, I love the chapter's title!

I adored the conversation between Donna, Jack, and Martha. My heart ached reading over what happened at Torchwood Tower and I love Donna's perspective on it.

*Sigh* If only Jack could have found a way. *Sniffles*

Once again, Donna is made of awesome.
