*coughs* what the title says!
This year, I learned:
* Koreans are smexy and need to be taken into account from now on.
* DBSK, no matter what the band says it stands for Gods or the East or whatever, stands for Dis Boyz Should Kiss. Yeah, "this" is not written like that but I am trying to learn Miyavi English and so I will add a lot of "z" and "d"s to my English xD [/end bad joke]
* The Gazette are a great band, but thanks to them I found out things I don't like about the Japanese music industry: apparently the band members think of this as a normal office job, because sometimes they can't even stand each other. I had never heard of something like this happening, usually bands are formed by members who get along with each other, no? O_Ó
* Miyavi is trying hard to understand occidental fans, so he tells us "I love you" as many times as he can... it's nice, but I hope he doesn't overdo it. Yeah, we are more open about our feelings, but I hope he knows the limit (although if he tells us "I'm in love with the dancer", I'll fangirl) xD
* I can be a depressive emo sometimes, and I can mess up my life quite easily, but I can also do things right... once in a while xD
* Japanese men living in Barcelona never clean after themselves. I have been told this is because they get used to our culture... I dunno, but if I owned a shop I'd clean it... XD
* I can get over things; I only need to gather enough courage to do it. This year I've proven to myself that I am a real coward and that I shouldn't put myself in difficult positions because of that.
* LJ is for more things than just lurking. I met very nice people this year... thank you! ^__^
* I found out what Visual Fucks are, and shortly after the LJ comm closed. Just like me to be too late... I learned a lot and now I criticise myself so much that I have to spend 3 hours doing my make-up before I allow myself to go out (and I am not even visual...) XD
Resolutions for the new year:
* Travel, travel, travel! If I can't go to Japan, at least go back to London or visit Paris or Germany, but I have to see other countries and learn other ways of seeing life!
* Get involved with the organisations that plan Japanese activities in my city Ò_Ó
* Go to those Jrock concerts, even if I have to go alone... perhaps I will have fun... or not. But I am independent and old enough to do so, no? XD
* Take the noken 3 and 4 exams, and, if possible, pass them both xD
* Get my f*cking driving license already! =,=
* Learn the Ponyo on a cliff song... it's too cute! Ponyo~ ponyo~ sakana no ko~~~~! XD
* Find a f*cking job already. Economic Crisis or not, I need one...
* Improve my English 'cause it's getting worse instead of better XD
* Update those 4 fics I have not updated in... 5 YEARS?! O.O
* Cope with the fact that yeah, I'm 20 years old already and I have no boyfriend nor a job... AND WHO THE HELL NEEDS A BFF? I am too independent for one... and 20 years old is not too old...right? ;__;
* Learn a bit of Korean and Chinese :3
* Take up drawing and writing again... I don't know why I suddenly decided I was not good at it; with work I can get a bit better, right...?
With that said, I wish you all a good start of the New Year, and that 2009 brings you even more happiness than 2008 did (if that's possible)! See you in 2009, friends!
A biiiiiiiiiiiiiiig hug and kiss to you all! ^__^
