I am certain some (if not all) of you are familiar with that warm fuzzy feeling that makes you want to throw a piece of equipment out the window. In my case my target is my...secular printer, which won't stop printing test pages every time I turn the power on. Because clearly HP cartridges are so cheap it can waste ink like that >_>; Just gdiaf. It ( Read more... )

I swear I've considered buying a much more recent model of another brand. But when it's all said and done cartridges are always expensive - some more than others ( ... )

I do like the recent Evangelion movies too, and I like it for the same reasons you do :)

Haha, yes...that warm fuzzy feeling is quite memorable! XD I had it with my printer a few days ago (darn thing just...didn't want to print for a really long time, and was smearing ink on the papers 0_0;). I hope that your printer situation gets resolved soon, and that you don't have to buy a new ink cartridge as a result (those things are...definitely not cheap 0_0;). Gah, technology can be frustrating.

Good luck with school, and I hope you're able to find an awesome and affordable bookshelf soon too! ♥

I've been meaning to watch the Evangelion 2.0 movies at some point (it was one of the first anime series I ever watched, so I have some pretty big nostalgia for it). I agree with you on voice acting when that occurs...it's understandable when it happens, but it takes some getting used to all the same. I'm glad you think the remakes are good though! :D

Yeah, especially because these cartridges are new. I never had this trouble before.

Thanks!

Yeah it totally was the first anime I watched when I was 9. Of course it was too violent for kids and I didn't understand the greater meaning of it but me and sis loced watching it Saturday mornings on TV.

They're nice. Helps I haven't watched the original in a while so I'm not exactly comparing.

Oh, gosh. I was beginning to wonder about you. XD Re your bookshelf... IDK, how big do you want it? Like, an entire bookcase or? *has managed to make SO MANY THINGS double as bookcases. ^^;

Take care, you!

Ah sorry. Busy as usual. I wish I had more time, really. Well, not so big, just a regular one. I have 1 meter width available in my bedroom so it can't be that big.

Thanks. I will =)

Ah yes - I do remember that warm, fuzzy feeling. So warm and fuzzy that I've had to deal out the silent treatment with my internet connection at school.

I really enjoyed the EVA movies so far. The pacing is a tad better than in the TV series or the two other movies (though I enjoyed them just the same, if only for the psychologically fascinating characters). I believe that the composer Shiro Sagisu composes for both the EVA series and for Bleach. Yeah, some of the voices do sound older, but hey that's life - it really stuck out to me when I first started watching the movies, but it doesn't bother me as much now.

xD Now I'm curious - what is the silent treatment for naughty internet connections? =p Axe to the server?

Yeah, it helps they didn't cram all the angels in the movies (although I would have liked to see that white and black sphere angel - you know, the one that swallowed Eva 1 in a shadow? That was was positively intriguing.)

Oooh I see! Yup, I knew I recognized some of the musics and that chorus xD

Yeah, I find that interesting more than annoying, actually. Yuna in Dissidia certainly sounds older in parts.

One of those silent treatments, yes :3 That, and trying to stop myself from throwing the server across the room.

Very true, very true. I found a lot of them intriguing - if they had done one monster after the other in the movies, it would have been too much action in too little time, if that makes sense.

That's right! :D It took me a few listens, but I finally caught it.

Interesting indeed. I must agree! It's the vocal evolution that caught me off guard at first - it was bound to happen though, give or take ten or so years in between projects and all that. The acting itself was very well done - the essence of the characters were still there, which I really appreciated, so the vocal changes didn't bother me too much.
