I am certain some (if not all) of you are familiar with that warm fuzzy feeling that makes you want to throw a piece of equipment out the window. In my case my target is my...secular printer, which won't stop printing test pages every time I turn the power on. Because clearly HP cartridges are so cheap it can waste ink like that >_>; Just gdiaf. It

Good luck with school, and I hope you're able to find an awesome and affordable bookshelf soon too! ♥
I've been meaning to watch the Evangelion 2.0 movies at some point (it was one of the first anime series I ever watched, so I have some pretty big nostalgia for it). I agree with you on voice acting when that occurs...it's understandable when it happens, but it takes some getting used to all the same. I'm glad you think the remakes are good though! :D

Thanks!
Yeah it totally was the first anime I watched when I was 9. Of course it was too violent for kids and I didn't understand the greater meaning of it but me and sis loced watching it Saturday mornings on TV.
They're nice. Helps I haven't watched the original in a while so I'm not exactly comparing.

I really enjoyed the EVA movies so far. The pacing is a tad better than in the TV series or the two other movies (though I enjoyed them just the same, if only for the psychologically fascinating characters). I believe that the composer Shiro Sagisu composes for both the EVA series and for Bleach. Yeah, some of the voices do sound older, but hey that's life - it really stuck out to me when I first started watching the movies, but it doesn't bother me as much now.

Yeah, it helps they didn't cram all the angels in the movies (although I would have liked to see that white and black sphere angel - you know, the one that swallowed Eva 1 in a shadow? That was was positively intriguing.)
Oooh I see! Yup, I knew I recognized some of the musics and that chorus xD
Yeah, I find that interesting more than annoying, actually. Yuna in Dissidia certainly sounds older in parts.

Very true, very true. I found a lot of them intriguing - if they had done one monster after the other in the movies, it would have been too much action in too little time, if that makes sense.
That's right! :D It took me a few listens, but I finally caught it.
Interesting indeed. I must agree! It's the vocal evolution that caught me off guard at first - it was bound to happen though, give or take ten or so years in between projects and all that. The acting itself was very well done - the essence of the characters were still there, which I really appreciated, so the vocal changes didn't bother me too much.
