Its pretty much like uncertain hope. Your not sure god exist cause you've never seen him before nor can you prove his existence, yet you continue to believe in him.
Its something i'll never understand...im glad I thought about it and got away from that crap.

I also broke away, Clyde.
I couldn't help the fact that none of what I was reading and almost forcing myself to believe in didn't agree with my aspect of life.
(Yeah, even at 10 I realized that)

I would literaly say at night after reading the bible, "If you exist, please give me a sign".
I never got one so I just gave up.

Ooo~..I use to ask for the same thing. Some strange things did happen..but nothing I could not just pass off as coincendences and stuff.

Thats a good way of explaining it and looking at it. But most of the christians I know dont look at like that..
