Ok, you've hit my heart big time! The tears are filling up as I read about your day with the children. Your love has reached out to them already! I look forward to seeing them. I use to have a doll that walked, but that was centuries ago!! That will give me an excuse to go to a toy store and check it out for you, sometime! Have fun! Keep playing and loving! Love, Robin H.

Found a doll that walks a dog (Golden Ret) on line. The dog actually pulls the doll but from description it looks like they are both walking. It's on Amazon.Com and made by Mattel and offered by Toys R US. Tom

It sounds like you had a wonderful few days with your children. When we were in Gliwice, we would run across that street that Hotel Silvia is on (and risk life and limb). Then, we would stroll up and down the street - further down, there are little homes with dogs, cats, etc. Our kids enjoyed the walks and it was really worth it!
Also, the gas station is a little store - you can buy food and little things there!
Take care,

Iwona & Patrick with Peter, Paul, Michael and Connor

Thank you so much for all of these postings, so we can be part of your wonderful time! I'm really looking forward to meeting the children - first by photograph and then for real!

Now where can we find those thin wooden blocks, or something similar? Please take pictures of those, with the children (just to provide scale, of course. :-D )

Love to all six, in Our Lady, Elizabeth
