Well, I am sorry to say, I don't know how to convert metric. Will look forward to someone who can, so I can get the right sizes. Love, Robin H.

E & L ~
As a former Gymboree sales gal, I can translate your centimeters to US sizes!
I is a size 5 or 6, he's right on the border in height, but his inseam is a 5.
D is a size 4, almost a 5 in height, but with the tiny waist a 4 might be more appropriate. Her inseam is right between the sizes.
M is a 3T in height and inseam, but a 4T would probably be more comfy, and since it's warm, shorts in 4T will be just right.
Glad I can use that Gymbo knowledge for something, actually more helpful than the law degree~ Gina

Gotta love the internet.... I found a converion chart of measures
and have converted the centimeters to inches as follows:

55= 21.65
114= 44.88
40= 15.75
49= 19.29
106= 41.73
41= 16.14
60= 23.62
100= 39.37
34=13.39

Hope this info is helpful. May help folks compare sizes to other children they know.

Also, as the aformentioned brother who spoke with L about permanent names for the children before they left for Poland. I did so because I felt strongly that it was important. However I've expressed my thoughts and am sure L knows it was done with genuine concern. Whatever decisions they make are ultimately their choice alone. I, and hopefully all, will respect that.... Geesh, hope I didn't make any grammer errors... :-) Tom

This is Elaine.

Thanks Tom for the Conversions. Lawrence and I are both annoyed at the fellow who just likes to rain on peoples parades. One of the children will have a mild name change to accommodate local American pronunciation. The other two will probably won't. L and I are still discussing things. But then again, we were discussing how to spell Madelaine as I was getting my c-section. Fortunately, we had already agreed on Ross as a boy's name.

All the children have a strong sense of identity, which means that they will do well in the long run, but it wouldn't be easy or even right to change their name.

Thanks again for getting the doll and doing the conversions. And don't worry about your grammar. I never check it when I'm not getting paid to do so.

Love to the family
Elaine
