Two fifth of Arashi were sitting next to each other on the couch in their dressing room, waiting for the VS Arashi staff to call them into the studio again. They just finished Bank Bowling and were asked to wait until the preparations for the next game were done.

So here they were. Aiba turning his face to Sho every five seconds. The tight grip on his striped shorts revealed the indescribable nervousness he was feeling.

Did they really just kiss?

It wasn’t like one of those TV-series-kisses where the male character just plainly lays his lips on the heroine one's and freezes for a few seconds. It was more like a smooch. A nice, cute smooch.

Aiba’s head turned once again and his eyes caught the deliciously looking plump lips of Sho.

Okay, wait no, did he really just call them delicious?

But they were.

He felt a comfortable heat spreading through his body, remembering their little kiss once again. It felt incredible how both of their full lips were firmly pressed together - like a match made in hell. And Aiba could swear that Sho was even tilting his head a bit. And didn’t his lips feel kind of wet when their mouths met? Did he lick his lips before the kiss? It couldn’t be… could it?

Just for confirmation Aiba looked at Sho again, only to find his bandmate staring back at him this time.

“A-ah, I am sorry.”

“Are you?”

“What?” Aiba was dumbfounded by the sudden question.

“Did… did you like… was something happening in you when we kissed?”

The astonishment still lingered on his face until he thought about what Sho was asking him. In him? Well, he did feel something. There was this warm tingling on his lips when they met; a tingling that spread within seconds and made Aiba feel all kind of cozy and warm and comfortable and secure. He finally understood what it meant to have butterflies fluttering in your stomach, except that they were everywhere in his body - reaching from his fingertips down to his heels.

“A tingling” he muttered quietly.

“A tingling?”

“Yeah.”

“Like the one that feels like a fuzzy blanket you don’t want to unwrap yourself from?”

Aiba agreed with a nod (and was dumbfounded again), his mouth slightly parting when he understood that Sho felt the same.

“Like your blanket” he continued with a soft voice “Like the blanket you got me for my 30th birthday. It feels exactly the same.”

Both of them fell silent again, processing the words that they just exchanged; their gazes still locked. When Sho slowly placed his palm on the back of Aiba’s hand, he had to smirk and lowered his head a bit.

“Is this what I think it is?” Aiba turned his hand so that their palms touched now, his fingers finding Sho’s.

“I guess.”

When the door of the dressing room opened and one of the staff members told them to get ready in five minutes, they perceived his attendance, but only had eyes for each other. Even if they wanted to look away, they just couldn’t.

“We should go back to the studio” Sho said in his usual responsible manner, after the staff member rushed out of the room again “But does the blanket really feel like-“

He couldn't form his question, because Aiba was pressing his lips against Sho’s, a soft hum escaping his mouth when he felt the plumpness again.

This time the kiss was a bit firmer, stronger, more passionate and above everything else - it lasted longer. The only thing that was harder to do this time was to let go. When their lips weren’t connected anymore, it felt excruciating.

Sho frowned and pouted when his lips were left untouched again and lightly closed his eyes.

“So you really did lick your lips! I knew it!”

“… What?”

“And you tilted your head! To get a better angle!”

The high-pitched giggle rang in Sho’s head and Aiba’s current smug face kept stuck in his mind.

“Oh and then you were taking my hand and huggin-“

Sometimes Aiba blabbered about embarrassing things a bit too loud and too fast, but that didn’t matter anymore because Sho finally found a solution to shut him down in a soft, nice, mouth-to-mouth kind of way.

Comment: I should do homework you know? Too bad that I have to do it in a word document. That looks so much better when it's covered in a fanfic. So basically that's my homework. ^^
