Ethics Experiment, Day 71 + Day 72

Score!! My internet works....for now. I did not forget about this last night; my bloody internet wouldn't work.

Day 71
1. Got through my classes without passing out from exhaustion.
2. Found out I have an A in my accounting class. A low A, but an A, none-the-less.
3. Saw Twilight with some friends.

Twilight was way too amusing for my own good, but I think that was mainly because of who I went with versus the actual movie. It was extremely awkward. I know that Edward wanted to eat Bella, but really? I think it was a little over awkward. It was more "wow, I have no idea what I'm supposed to actually be doing with you" awkward than "I really want to eat you" awkward.

I did like it, though. Jasper was adorable. Alice was surprisingly interesting. Emmett wasn't as Emmett as I thought, but he was pretty good too. Carlisle cracked me up. In the hospital scene after Edward saves Bella from the van, he slams open the door and enters all soap opera like. I swear, I expected him to pause and state, "I'm Carlisle!". I about died, I laughed so hard. My friend and I were up at the top losing our shit, we found it that amusing. We went with another friend who hasn't read the books/doesn't really know the story and she was all "WTF?", which just made us laugh even more. Esme and Rosalie weren't really in it enough to have an opinion on them. They were like in the book, which was cool. I'm hoping we actually do get to see more of them if they make the other three. I admit, I liked them.

One thing I was bummed about was Edward's lack of sparkliness. Yeah, he sparkled, but he didn't sparkle. I was totally expecting him to glow and shit. The thing that kept me amused through that ridiculous scene was my friend and me quoting Charlie the Unicorn 2, "it's the magical amulet!!! Sparkle, Sparkle!!!!" We actually quoted CtU and CtU2 quite often during that movie. It's so easy when the dad's name is Charlie, though. You can't fault us that. This is why we went on Tuesday, so we could be annoyingly giggly and mocking without pissing off/annoying any freakishly in love fangirls. There were seven people in the theater. The three of us, a 14ish-year-old guy and who I'm assuming was his mom, and a 20-something couple. And it was a big ass theater, so we were pretty much isolated from the others. It was fun.

I like the books, I won't deny that. They're like the ultimate crack!fic, and I love me some crack!fic. I look forward to seeing if they're going to make any of the others into movies and to see how they manage to do that without making it noticeable that the actors have gotten older.

Day 72
1. Bought a fiber optic penguin. I don't have any fiber optic penguins...well, other than that one.
2. Found The Christmas Cottage and found that, so far (I'm about an hour in) I actually enjoy it. I especially love the hats Jared wears. I love beanies, and Jared's are just damn adorable.
3. Got to watch snippets of Wall-E while at work. They're playing it in Electronics.

EDIT: I just finished The Christmas Cottage. That was adorable and Lifetime special-y and very Hallmark, and I loved it. I'm not really a fan of Kinkade's work, but this movie was too cute. It really was.
