"The kitchen needs to be painted pink. You know, so girls will like it."

If that was said by ANYONE else but my son, they would have been decked.

LOL!! For my Psych. Growth & Development paper, I interviewed a 5 1/2 year old boy who used to like pink. After he got to school, the kids teased him, and now he says he hates it. But, he wants a little sister, and he wants to paint her room pink. I didn't even want to analyze that . . . so cute!

Pink used to be a colour associated with boys, actually. It changed early 20th century. 1920s or so, I think.
