I liked it overall, I think. There were parts that had me endlessly giggling. And definately stay through the credits and watch the mini-animation they have. Yes, yes, definately.

I totally agree with you about Arthur and Trillian. Why does Hollywood always feel the need to stick romance in where it's not needed? This is one movie that DIDN'T need it!

Though interestingly enough, in Mostly Harmless you find out that Trillian and Arthur had a baby - but I am not going to spoil it for you by telling you when or how. *hehehe*

But I thought that Ford was really flat. He just seemed very monochromatic to me. Now, Zaphod, on the other hand - DUDE. He was hysterical. The perfect Zaphod. His energy was just amazing. And Marvin is SO CUTE! I want a little plushie Marvin.

I also liked the gun. :)

There was a lot I didn't like. John Malkovich's character seemed entirely unnecessary. I didn't like the way Marvin looked.

BUt I loved Ford, and thought he stole most of the scenes he was in. The guy has charisma.
