help!

HELLA of my ikea furniture has mold on it.  is there any way for me to salvage my furniture, or am i gonna have to break bread and spread a grip to replace it all?  any tips, pointers, answers would help ( Read more... )

my current room has mold =/ ..im living in a zestpool of mold right now. it's everywhere!

i think u should replace everything. admittedly, i dont know much about mold, but i figure it's better to be safe than sorry.

u should check out craigslist if anybody is giving away those items you need for free or hella cheap.

thats actually really unhealthy. you shouldn't stay in the room until it gets taken care of, lest you get uber sick (people die from that shit).

For the furniture, if its possible, replace the molded parts with fresh wood. Treat the wood with stuff, maybe ask around online or at home depot.

I used to live out by Lake Merced and we had lots of problems with mold. Like Joe says, it's way unhealthy -- I kept getting sick and Jer's asthma was always acting up.

I'd go for new (or gently used) furniture if I were you. Better safe than sorry!
