The head orchestra director at Keio has Vivaldi as his call-waiting music. I have yet to meet him personally, but I believe this is damning evidence of his sadism as there is no more effective way to make perfectly cultured, adult men cry ( Read more... )

Well, that's an idea. Yuushi wouldn't mind turning what he does as a hobby into a job.

But doesn't your line of work involve much of the above-mentioned pinching?

I've never been pinched. I've never heard of any of the other hosts being pinched either.

If it isn't a trouble even you face, then I suppose I have nothing to worry about. Perhaps it isn't something people of our generation do.

When do you work?

...You seriously had old women pinching your ass while you worked at the nursing home...?

...I could recommend you for a job at the flower shop I had been working at, but...thanks to its rather unique variety of plants that are sold there...and the even more unique clientele we regularly received...I'm not sure it'd be something you could handle very well~~

I am in possession of a very pinchable posterior.

Something I can't handle very well? Oh, do tell me more.

...That's not the part I was particularly concerned about...It's the fact that these would be women old enough to be your grandmother, or even great-grandmother...And seeing as you are only 18...that's...disturbing to think about...

Well, most people *do* get intimidated by the idea of cyptobotany~~ And seeing as some of those could actually be deadly if not handled with care, it's scared away a lot of potential new coworkers over the years~~ ...Which admittedly was always amusing to me, but it wasn't fun regularly going through new trainees...

Doesn't your grandmother ever grope in affectionate yet non-disturbing ways? I'm quite certain granny-groping is filed under Great Traditions > Japan > South.

Huh. So that's why.

I quite think so as well, but after hearing some disheartening words I have been having second thoughts. Do hold me steadfastly in this time of turmoil. :'(

Rather, the hosting industry is a very competitive environment for which I am apparently unsuited as a result of my lack of versatility. I believe it is the most depressing personal assessment I've received in years.
