In view of recent events, proactivity suggests that I start one of these so that between the phone and the internet there would hopefully remain a back-up form of keeping in contact. I've been recognizing familiar faces around here as well as some others that time has fuzzed around the edges. While I am unacquainted with the internet protocol for ( Read more... )

Sorry, Gakuto. The articles I'd read on our generation of hikikomori youths detached from human warmth in favor of virtual comforts had been turning me away. But alas, since none of you seem to have sequestered yourselves permanently in your homes, I decided to take this grand leap of faith and accept the beneficence of online social networking.

I haven't seen you since the earthquakes. Should I be checking up. :>

That's a bunch of bullcrap. There ain't nothin' on any computer that would make me detach from anybody I care about. I think a lot of people are that way, too, despite what articles might say. Where do you read that shit, anyway?

My house ain't safe for livin' in. Went and checked it out the other day and man. It's gonna need serious work. Most of us are hangin' at one of Atobe's houses. You can come visit there if ya get lonely ;)

My choices of reading are all highly accredited and are sources of informed, erudite thinking and research, Gakuto. ...And before you try to destroy my ethos through my Harlequin collection, I must point out that we are all privileged to our individual chosen sins. Heaving bosoms are mine. :>

Oh, that's unfortunate. I hadn't heard that it was quite so awful. While the lack of up-to-date knowledge does bring loneliness to my poor, quivering heart, I might not be able to get away as my father binds me tightly inside the home with volunteer work for the hospital. In the meantime, give everyone my regards for me, yes? I will deliver them personally soon.

Great, now that you have a journal, we can start 'discussing' things again since the government said we should keep phone call for emergency only.

But still, quoting Mukahi, it took you long enough Yuushi.

[ooc: What he meant by discussing is their usual quarrel over the phone ♥]

Well, the government did also suggested that we keep electrical consumption to a minimum. In times that demand abstemiousness from the best of us, we could temporarily leave our...discussions for our most direct meetings. Perhaps when you come to pick up your present? I have something you will just adore and rave over, I'm sure. It should be fairly conducive to conversation.

[ooc: I've never known cousins who're quite so chatty over the phone. Oh boys. ♥]

I didn't know you miss me that much, Yuushi~ And as I said in my journal, I hope it isn't something embarrassing. But then again, since it's from you, I think it's kinda futile to hope for that.

I'm still coming though, father said he has free time on Monday. Expect us to be there by noon and please tell your sister there's no need to bake cookies~

[ooc: and even after separated for three years, they still manage to have a 'close' relationship. XD]

Hey now, if baking brings life and joy to my sister's heart, who am I to begrudge her of her one true passion. Also. Have you lost touch with the memory of the taste of those cookies, Kenya. Like little mini-saucers of heaven, okay.

I'll let Mother know of the plans on Monday. We'll be the loyal defenders of your right to life, property, and the pursuit of happiness.

[ooc: lol I'm assuming they kept up with their once-every-three-days phone call schedule over the years, though? It just seems natural between them. :D]

I know that Keigo said he had gotten ahold of you at some point, so I knew you were fine, but still nice to know you've not been turned into a zombie or anything in the aftermath, dear romantic of ours~~

......And if you really want, I *can* break out the chicken and grass skirt for your sake and perform a proper welcoming ritual~~ I'm sure Keigo's chefs have got a live chicken around here somewhere...And I myself have a grass skirt collecting dust somewhere in my room~~ Even if it's not from a culture that practices such things...But whatever~~

[OOC: Typical Chinen teasing. Hyoutei folks are used to it at this point and he doesn't really believe Yuushi was turned into a zombie. Though...just because he'd find it funny, he might actually break out the chicken and a grass skirt. >>;]

Oh, but this could have just been my break from an afternoon of moaning, "Braaaaaaains" out my bedroom window. My next target could be you, dearest Chi-chan. :>

That's-- Well, see now, I was sure I wasn't the only one in possession of a grass skirt, and Keigo wouldn't believe me. :( We should ditch the chicken, hoop in a couple more members (...Ryou, we should get Ryou), and form our very own Hula Boys. I would be very appreciative of seeing my most loving friends swishing around like little Hawaiian princesses. ♥ Would it be too late to submit this to the student council for a mini-show at graduation do you think.

[ooc: lol, Chinen-kuuuun. Strikes have been deleted. Yuushi is fairly disappointed over the lack of tsukkomi he's getting over his chicken and grass skirts thing.]

Unfortunatelly, many here can't donate blood.

Hence my offer for people to join me in donating their utmost precious time. Do five-hour shift blocks with yours truly at the sign-up desk, helping people make contributions to relief for those who need it most pressingly strike a pleasant chord with your good, good heart, dearest?

I'm injured and when I'm not I have to work.

[ooc: shishi was at work - he works at a sports centre - and fell during the earth quake, he injured his wrist and ankle.]

Oh, I am sorry. I wasn't aware of that. Is there anything I can do for you. As you know, our cupboard is home to an impressive variety of first-aid items which can be pilfered quite easily for those in need.

Always fashionable late to the party, ahn? It's good to know you've finally found the energy to have one of these for yourself. and though I already was insured of your safety, it's nice to see that you are indeed still well

However, Ore-sama thinks there are better uses for your chickens. One which you have already pointed out. In fact, I think I have another airdrop soon... We shall catch back up once I'm back terra firma.

If the all-busy Atobe Keigo has the energy to keep one of these, I'm left with little excuse not to. The same goes for you. Although given all the work you've been doing for relief, it seems that you are more than alive and in-tact. It's all just like you, Keigo.

I'll keep you to that.

Yet, I'm sure you could think of quite a few. I do what I can, but as I told Hiroshi, it doesn't seem like enough
