I care :) the end of summer is so hopelessly nostalgic, it's like getting old. and speaking of getting old, how old are your kids these days? they must be almost grown by now-- the years go by so fast fo rthem.
I don't care fot the end of summer AT ALL! :P Son is 11 and daughter will be 9 in December. Talk about time going fast; where did it go? Not three days ago they were babies... and 5 days ago I was single! Well it's more like 13 years but you know what I mean. *G*
I totally know what you mean. I remember when I joined the fandom (in my 20s) and there were some awesome writers and just generally fun people who were only 16 or 17. and now they are in their 20s, and I am even older, and it just blows my mind that we've all been around for 10 years... but with kids. god they are so different just in a few months. i am going to visit some friends with kids in NC next month. when I moved to Ottawa last October, they were 1 and 2. now they are 2 and 3.5, and they have a new baby brother. Iris couldn't talk when I left, now she says hello to me on the phone. oliver was practically a baby. now he is a little man. it's insane. it's terrifying. I can't even imagine what it's like to watch as a mom.
