I watched Hero last night. I was expecting something close to Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, what I got was a lot closer to Saturday morning kung-fu theater. The visual effects were excellent, especially the colors, but they weren’t enough to save the movie from the bad voice-overs and funky story line. Maybe I should have watched it with sub

Are you talking about Hero, about the man who defeats the 3 assasigns? I loved that movie!

I couldn't get over the cheesy english voice-overs. It was so 1970's B grade kung fu movie. The ending seemed silly too. I might give it another try with sub titles. The whole thing with the colors and the visual effects were pretty cool though.

Haha yeah it was the perfect b-rate kungfu movie! I love em! However, I couldn't watch it with subtitles because I would get so lost on reading that I would miss things going on on-screen. My hubby likes B rate horror movies, I'm more the cheesy kungfu type. HIYA!
