I'm glad you liked it. :) Next time though, I'll just email you instead of posting.
About your stories: I'm slowly catching up on my reading. Things should get back to normal this week end (at least I hope) and we can chat again. I miss you. :)
I do know that November 2nd is important to the entire Christian church, October 31st all hallows eve, Novemember 1st all Saints day, November 2nd all souls day. Because of course you couldn't celebrate the souls of normal people at the same time as regular people. But anymore it's become a Catholic thing where they must say the office of the dead. They believe that the souls are not cleansed of venal sin and the day of various ceremonies cleans those of the last year so they can go on to the beatific vision.
So maybe if someone dies on that day it exempts them from the cleansing, trapping their souls? Which could be why Mary was still there in the house.
It also made me think of changelings, where the bad faeries took the child and left one in their place.

I love European/Russian/the really old mythology. It's not given enough credit anymore, it's all Greek and Romans.
Not that I mind that, considering. *points to name* :D
I wrote lots of new stuff, like I finished Pretty Thing and posted porn and started a new WIP. :D:D:D:D:D:D
