"Salvation" was great for many reasons but the first few minutes gave me great joy because the show has a new opening, and well that’s a good sign for season two. Because surely they wouldn’t bother with that if this season was the last one, IMO

Speaking of excitement I have these huge hi-res pix of Jared and I'm looking for a server where I could upload them. Know where I could put them? I'd like to have a Jared picspam on my LJ.

And yeah, Jess really doesn't fit into this pattern at all, so I'm thinking maybe it's the demon waging a war against the Winchester men by going after the women they love. Or something...
Loved this ep from the beginning to the end, and can't wait until next week. I have a bad feeling about Papa's chances - I was thinking "Please, please Kripke, don't kill Papa, please!" for most of this ep, and will continue with that until I see the last ep, I guess. I haven't heard anything about JDM's situation with the other shows he's been on, maybe that's a factor on Papa's chances of survival?

I hope daddyW won't die but I can't imagine season 2 with the 3 Winchesters fighting demons. I love it too much when it's just Sam and Dean. :)

I love Sam & Dean, but I also think that the family dynamic (which I love to bits) is even more interesting with Papa around. It's like Sam & Dean's relationship moves to another plane when you put Papa into the mix. But having that all the time would get boring at some point, I think. I guess I'm actually okay with having an occasional stand-alone "filler episode" with minimal continuity, and I certainly don't need Papa for those.
