I have been known to under certain circumstances, with certain audiences. Things one gets stoked about include: ideal water conditions, concert lineups, and anything with an open bar.

It's worth noting that the literary EldestSister manages to convey a withering look in my direction if I use "stoked" in anything to which she is the audience. We are not those people
