OK so I have been pretty interesting in this years presidential primaries and I'm still undecided who to vote for or even what party. I always feel like there is no candidate out there who really represents what I believe ( Read more... )

i think i identify as libertarian, and i don't anticipate any kind of 'libertarian primary!' for years, if ever. so you aren't alone.

i don't even think the president really matters. it's not like gw bush is running the country. we've got congress, the senate, i mean there are a whole lot of things to take into consideration. so in that sense i kind of feel like it doesn't really matter who we vote for - shit's going to happen. i don't see much difference in obama and hillary. and i would appreciate if they could explain what their differences are - have you noticed they haven't even bothered to do that yet?

None of those people matter, major corporations owned by 5% of the richest Americans run this country.

I have been a Mike Gravel girl since the very beginning but since he is no longer in the running, I have been very torn between the remaining three big choices. I took a compatability quiz that said after Gravel and Kucinich, that Edwards was most compatable with the issues that are important to me. But for some reason, the idea of a man running for president while his wife is battling terminal cancer really turns me off.

Ron Paul is trendy but he's definately way to extreme for me. Until this morning, I really liked McCain but I was reading the news and he gave an interview where he talked about how the American people need to buckle down because there will definately be more wars. Now, when I say I liked McCain, I was just talking about as a person, I definately disagree with him on too many social issues to vote for him. I feel like any Republican is going to be sucked up too far into the war machine. I've done a LOT of reading and research and despite the fact that a woman president sounds awesome, I am backing Obama.

hillary = tracy flick.
ps - i like barack. his campaign isn't run by lobbyist (lobbiest? lobbeest? lobbiehstch?) and he has a great focus on autism.

you aren't alone. I don't like any of the candidates on either side. It's all basically the same old same old - with a black guy and a chick thrown in just to mess with peoples heads.
I am leaning more towards ron paul, but he's a bit too extreme on some issues for me.

i'm not sure what i'm going to do yet.

p.s. Ross says hello.

You can get just the opposite of what you like from voting for Mike Huckabee.
